The airport of Grenoble-Isere, also known as Grenoble Saint-Geoirs, is some 45 minutes by coach from the centre of Grenoble. Access to the ski stations is almost entirely by motorway until Albertville which gives relativly short journey times.

Although Val Thorens has great skiing in its own right, it is a part of the Three Valleys domain and the common lift pass makes this huge ski area accessible.
