Chambery is the closest airport to the Tarentaise and Three Valleys though has only a small number of flights from the UK - primarily from charter operators - and these are winter only which is great for skiers but not ideal for mountain bikers! There are some scheduled flights provided by jet2 and flyglobespan. Chambery Airport is only ten minutes from Chambery.
Montalbert is a paradise of tree lined runs rising from 1350 metres and opening onto the entire La Plagne and Paradiski domains. Montalbert is a small, friendly village and is well served by a selection of restaurants, bars and shops.
