Geneva-Cointrin Airport is the primary airport serving ski resorts in the French Alps. During the winter season some 50 airlines provide services to and from Geneva Cointrin and the airport is a major hub for easyJet and Swiss International Airlines. There are regular scheduled flights from many UK regional airports. The airport is located on the Swiss side of the French Swiss Border. Geneva Airport is around an hour from Annecy and 1 hour 40 minutes from Albertville. A new motorway is currently being constructed to link Geneva and Annecy and when it opens in April 2008 should cut around 15 minutes from transfer times.

Courchevel

Courchevel is one of the main resort towns in the linked Three Valleys ski domain and boasts of 1304 acres of winter sports terrain. 150 kilometres of piste are served by 62 chairs. There are 27 green runs, 44 blue, 38 red and 10 blacks ensuring that in Courchevel there is something for every level of enthusiast. There are four distinct Courchevel Villages identified by their height (in metres); Courchevel 1300 (Le Praz), Courchevel 1550, Courchevel 1650 and Courchevel 1850. Courchevel is reached from the valley floor town of Moutiers which is 22kms away.
