Chambery is the closest airport to the Tarentaise and Three Valleys though has only a small number of flights from the UK - primarily from charter operators - and these are winter only which is great for skiers but not ideal for mountain bikers! There are some scheduled flights provided by jet2 and flyglobespan. Chambery Airport is only ten minutes from Chambery.
Champagny is one of the ski stations in the La Plagne ski domain, but uniquely is accessed by road from the Bozel Valley. Champagny sits at 1250m and 2000m is accessible by an eight minute cable car ride.
