Geneva Airport (GVA)
Geneva-Cointrin Airport is the primary airport serving ski resorts in the French Alps. During the winter season some 50 airlines provide services to and from Geneva Cointrin and the airport is a major hub for easyJet and Swiss International Airlines. There are regular scheduled flights from many UK regional airports. The airport is located on the Swiss side of the French Swiss Border. Geneva Airport is around an hour from Annecy and 1 hour 40 minutes from Albertville. A new motorway is currently being constructed to link Geneva and Annecy and when it opens in April 2008 should cut around 15 minutes from transfer times.
Arc 1800
Arc 1800, at 1800 metres, is a hub for the Les Arcs domain. With plenty of bars and nightlife, shopping and restaurants, Arc 1800 is probably the liveliest town in the Les Arcs resort. From here the Transarc gondola takes skiers up and over into the back of the resort.
